Can I wear basketball shoes for squash?
As a rough guide badminton and racquetball shoes may provide short-term substitutes however running shoes, tennis shoes and basketball shoes will all leave you unsupported. Because they are designed for other surfaces that may lead to injury and so they should not be used as an alternative.
Can you use volleyball shoes for squash?
Squash court floors are unsealed, and therefore squash players must wear non-marking shoes in order to not damage the court. Squash-specific shoes are available from several brands, but many players also wear volleyball shoes which are very similar.
