Can I use duct tape as grip tape?
Take a strip of duct tape sticky side out and wrap it tightly, but not too tightly that it can’t slide up and down, and not too loose that it slides right off the pencil. Remember, the sticky side should be out.
Can you use masking tape instead of grip tape?
You betcha! While it’s definitely cheaper to build up the grips with masking tape (and recommended) you can use double sided tape.
