Can You Roller Skate On Bumpy Roads?

Roller skates whether indoor or outdoor skate are meant for smooth surfaces to skate on. A rough road or rough side walk can effect the way the skates perform and can also effect your body balance in the way you have to skate. As far as I am concerned, I stay off any rough surfaces.
