- LED flashes red for 2 seconds: low battery shut off – TICKR FIT will automatically power down when the battery is too low, flashing RED for 2 seconds, then powering off.

How do you change the battery in a Wahoo TICKR?
Using a coin, remove the back casing of the device by inserting into the depression and turning counter-clockwise to the “unlock” position. Replace the dead battery with a new CR2032 coin cell battery. Replace the back casing and use the coin to turn clockwise to tighten to the “lock” position.
How do you maintain Wahoo TICKR?
Wahoo recommends washing the strap with soap and warm water after use, then hanging to dry completely before next use. Do not use strong chemicals or solvents on the strap or pod as these may reduce product longevity. To store, simply unbuckle at least one side of the strap to prevent unintended battery drain.

The Red LED flashes each time a heartbeat is detected. The Blue LED represents your connection state and has three modes: Slow Blink (about once every second) – TICKR is awake and not paired. 4x Flash – Occurs the instant a connection is made. Why is Wahoo Tickr not accurate?
Wipe the pod with a moist cloth and hand wash the belt well with soap and water. Sweat and dirt buildup can cause connection errors. Check the battery connection – while the battery is removed, flex the metal prong that connects to the battery by pulling up gently.

Can I swim with Wahoo TICKR fit?
You can workout in any weather you want! However, since both heart rate straps run on 2.4 gHz radio waves, they will not transmit data underwater so swimming with either of these straps is not an option.
Can I wash my Wahoo heart rate monitor strap?
Yes, you can wash the strap. We recommend hand washing the strap of the Wahoo Soft Heart Rate Strap and the Wahoo Blue HR with warm water and mild dish or hand soap.

The Wahoo Fitness app uses your phone’s GPS to provide accurate speed and distance data. GPS data can be slightly inaccurate when being used in areas with heavy tree cover, such as mountain biking. In these cases, we recommend the RPM Speed sensor or BLUE SC to provide more accurate speed and distance data.

Select “Sensors”. Select the TICKR X from the list of Saved Sensors. Scroll down and select “Calibrate” from the menu. Select the calibration type and follow the prompts to complete.

To reset the Wahoo: Remove the battery. Flip the battery upside down and reinstall. Leave battery installed upside down for 3 seconds.
Does Wahoo Tickr measure HRV?

First, make sure the heart rate sensor is worn correctly. Securely snap both ends of the strap into the sides of the heart rate monitor, make sure the sensor pads are wet, and place the heart rate monitor against your skin (the moisture helps create a good bond between the belt and the skin).
