Why is there no skate 4?
There is no release date as it stands – as the title has only recently started development, we anticipate a 2023 release. The game’s Twitter account confirmed that a development team was formed in January of 2021, so we could be some way from seeing it.

EA has announced that “Skate 4” will actually be called “Skate”, much to the annoyance of all SEO writers across the world. It’s also going to be free-to-play, with EA keen to insist the game won’t include any pay-to-win mechanics.
