Imo, I find hunter to be easier to play compared with other DPS classes. Unlike rogues and mages, hunters don’t seem to have to deal with debuffs as often. On average their pets can also heal back the damage that they tank faster than eating food.

You will want to save your Rapid Fire and Haste Potion along with Bestial Wrath for when Heroism is used to maximize your potential dps. 1:1 is the easiest and most basic rotation to follow. 1 Steady Shot per 1Auto Shot. This rotation is used at effective weapon speeds of 1.3 to 1.6 seconds.

Should hunters use scorpid sting TBC?
Always. Unless there’s another hunter with you who is using it (it doesn’t stack), keep it on whatever is hitting the tank at all times. 5% is huge, it causes very little threat, and if you accidentally hit a CC targeted mob with it it will not break CC. Conversely, serpent sting does very, very little.
